Spain, June 29 — HiTHIUM and the Government of Navarra jointly hosted the "HiTHIUM Navarra Open Day" event. H.E. Yao Jing, Chinese Ambassador to Spain, and María Chivite, President of the Government of Navarra, attended and delivered speeches on site, while Jeff Wu, Founder and Chairman of HiTHIUM, delivered a speech via video. Representatives from the Spanish and Navarrese governments, industry associations, local enterprises, and industrial chain partners gathered to engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics including Europe's energy transition, local industrial ecosystem development, supply chain collaboration, and talent development, jointly exploring new opportunities for China-Spain green industry cooperation.

Distinguished Guests at the Open Day
As a key exchange event for advancing HiTHIUM's European localization strategy, the Open Day featured sessions on corporate strategy sharing, industrial environment introduction, supply chain requirements, and localization experience exchange. These activities further deepened mutual trust and cooperation with the Spanish government and industrial partners, laying a foundation for building an open, collaborative, and win-win industrial ecosystem.
This April, witnessed by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, HiTHIUM signed an MoU on strategic investment cooperation with the Government of Navarra to jointly advance the implementation of HiTHIUM's Navarra project. The Open Day served as another key initiative to further deepen cooperation and accelerate project implementation.
Shared Vision and Consensus Building
María Chivite, President of Navarra, delivered the opening welcome address. She stated that Navarra boasts a strong industrial base, an open innovation environment, and highly skilled talent, which closely align with HiTHIUM's development philosophy. The Navarrese government will continue to support the project, actively forge cooperation platforms among government, businesses, and the industrial chain, and facilitate the participation of more local companies in the project, to jointly create an internationally competitive new energy industry ecosystem and achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

Commitment to Localization and Deep Roots in the European Market
Jeff Wu, Founder and Chairman of HiTHIUM, said that Europe is one of the most important and fastest growing markets in the global energy transition, where growing demand for energy security, self-sufficiency, and grid stability is accelerating the rapid expansion of the energy storage industry.
“We believe the best form of globalization is not serving markets from a distance, but creating value on the ground,” he said.

Jeff Wu, Founder and Chairman of HiTHIUM, Delivers an Address
Jeff Wu said that Spain, and Navarra in particular, possesses a solid industrial base, a highly skilled workforce, and an open investment environment — all of which give HiTHIUM great confidence in its future development. Over the next three years, the company will steadily advance the construction of its European manufacturing base and position Navarra as one of HiTHIUM's key manufacturing hubs in Europe. He also looks forward to deepening cooperation with local partners in supply chains, project construction, logistics services, and workforce development, aiming to build a robust and win-win industrial ecosystem. He is confident that, with joint efforts, Navarra will not only become a key industrial hub for Europe's energy transition but also set a new benchmark for China-Spain industrial cooperation.
Accelerating Europe's Energy Transition and New Opportunities for Localized Cooperation
During the Open Day, HiTHIUM systematically shared its corporate strategy, project planning, technological strengths, and localization roadmap with the attending guests.
HiTHIUM presented its global development strategy and European market strategy, with a focus on the Navarra project plan, local supply chain needs, and talent development programs. Drawing on experience from its Texas manufacturing base, the company shared practical achievements in local operations, supply chain collaboration, and talent development, offering valuable lessons for future project construction and operations.

HiTHIUM Delivers Strategic Presentation
At present, Europe is pressing ahead with its green and low-carbon energy transition. Energy storage, as a critical infrastructure supporting large-scale deployment of renewables and new power systems, is poised for rapid growth. With abundant renewable resources, a well-established industrial base, and an open investment climate, Spain is increasingly becoming a key growth engine for Europe's energy storage industry.
With strong support from the Government of Navarra, the Open Day not only enhanced understanding among Spanish stakeholders of HiTHIUM's global strategy, technological capabilities, and localization philosophy, but also built an effective communication bridge between government, enterprises, and supply chain partners, consolidating consensus for the project's next steps and the development of the local industrial ecosystem.
Looking ahead, HiTHIUM will remain committed to its "local for local" global operational philosophy, continuously deepening cooperation with the Government of Navarra and local partners, further improving supply chain collaboration and industrial ecosystem development, and contributing greater strength to Europe's energy transition and the high-quality development of green industries.
