On June 24, at The Smarter E Europe 2026, HiTHIUM officially launched its next-generation commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage product for the global market: the ∞Power 1022kWh liquid-cooled C&I energy storage cabinet. Built around HiTHIUM’s self-developed ∞Cell 1175Ah large-capacity energy storage cells, the product is designed to meet global C&I demand for enhanced safety, high integration, long-duration applications and lower LCOS, while strengthening HiTHIUM’s C&I energy storage portfolio.
As renewable energy penetration rises and electricity market reforms deepen, C&I users are looking beyond basic peak shaving and load shifting toward integrated energy management, long-duration applications and lifecycle revenue optimization. Against this backdrop, C&I energy storage is moving toward larger capacity, higher integration, longer duration and improved economics. The ∞Power 1022kWh cabinet supports this shift through its large-capacity cell platform, integrated architecture and intelligent management capabilities.

Launch of the ∞Power 1022kWh
The cabinet adopts a 1P272S system architecture, with a nominal capacity of 1022.72kWh, achieving approximately 1MWh of energy storage capacity in a single unit. Supported by HiTHIUM’s ∞Cell 1175Ah cell platform, it maintains high energy density while reducing the number of cabinets required and the complexity of on-site connections. Compared with a conventional 1MWh-level solution composed of four 261kWh cabinets, the new product can reduce footprint by approximately 32%. With a single-cabinet footprint of around 3.4 square meters and capacity density of approximately 300kWh/m², it helps improve land-use efficiency and deployment flexibility.
Safety remains a core foundation for high-quality energy storage development. The ∞Power 1022kWh cabinet is designed with a system-level safety architecture covering cells, system design, thermal management, fire protection and intelligent monitoring. At the cell level, it uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry and draws on HiTHIUM’s expertise in large-capacity cell R&D and manufacturing. At the system level, liquid cooling helps improve temperature consistency across cells during long-term operation.
The battery compartment is designed with insulation, fire protection and abnormal-condition mitigation in mind. Combined with smoke, temperature and gas sensors, the system can support abnormal-condition detection and coordinated protection. The product is also designed in accordance with NFPA 855 requirements, equipped with an aerosol fire suppression system and water fire protection interface, and planned for introduction into the UL 9540A testing and certification framework.
With C&I energy storage business models increasingly shifting toward long-term operation, lifecycle economics have become a key priority for users. The ∞Power 1022kWh cabinet supports a 0.25P charge and discharge rate, making it suitable for long-duration applications such as energy arbitrage, demand management, PV self-consumption, backup power and microgrids. Its large-capacity cells and integrated design help reduce connection components and installation steps, lowering initial investment costs. Liquid cooling, efficient energy management and digital O&M capabilities further support system availability and operational efficiency. The system is designed with a round-trip efficiency of approximately 90% and low auxiliary power consumption, helping improve long-term project returns.
The cabinet is designed with strong environmental adaptability. It supports wide-temperature operation, IP55 protection and C5M anti-corrosion design, enabling use in humid, high-salt and complex outdoor environments. The liquid-cooling unit uses an environmentally friendly refrigerant that meets EU environmental requirements. The product is also designed for lifting and transportation, wind loads, snow loads, earthquakes and transport impact, supporting safe deployment and stable operation in diverse regions.

The launch of the ∞Power 1022kWh liquid-cooled C&I energy storage cabinet marks an important step in extending HiTHIUM’s long-duration energy storage technology into C&I scenarios.
